We collect information you provide directly to us, such as when you create an account (business name, email, phone number), use our services (sales data, inventory records, financial records), or contact us. We also automatically collect usage data and device information when you use our platform.
We use your information to provide, maintain, and improve our services, process subscription payments, send transactional communications, provide customer support, and comply with legal obligations. We never sell your personal data to third parties.
MalondaPlus is a multi-tenant system. Each business's data is fully isolated using a unique business ID. Your sales records, inventory, payroll, and financial data are only accessible to users within your business account. We use industry-standard encryption and security practices.
Payment processing is handled by PayChangu, a licensed payment service provider in Malawi. We do not store your card or mobile money details on our servers. All payment transactions are encrypted and processed securely through PayChangu's infrastructure.
When you use our AI Business Assistant, your business summary data (aggregated sales totals, inventory counts, expense totals) is sent to OpenAI's API to generate insights. No personally identifiable information about your customers is shared with AI providers.
We retain your business data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your data is retained for 30 days before deletion, giving you time to export your records. You may request data deletion at any time by contacting support.
